
Nottingham Tram Consortium wins multiple awards
Nottingham Tram Consortium (NTC) has gained UK wide recognition at both the Light Rail Awards and the UK Bus Awards.
The Consortium took home two trophies from the Light Rail Awards on 2 November at the Britannia International hotel in Canary Wharf, London, which were presented during the Light Rail Conference and Exhibition 2007. In addition to winning the coveted “Light Rail Operator of the Year” award the company also walked away with “Team of the Year”, thanks to the hard work and dedication of its Infrastructure Cleaning Team.
Just a few days later NTC was rewarded once again at the UK Bus Awards, an event held at on 7 November at Old Billingsgate Conference Centre in the City of London. In front of an audience of over 800 attendees from the bus and light rail industry Nottingham Tram was awarded the prestigious Street Transit Award.
