One of the few remaining unspoilt pubs in Nottingham where pool and dominoes thrive. Reportedly, monks used to live on the site of this former Shipstones pub (note the superb poster in the bar). They do cobs on Saturday lunchtimes (cob is a Nottingham roll or bap).
