British Art Show 2006
Taking place every five years, the British Art Show is the most
ambitious survey of new and recent developments of art in the UK.
Touring to just four cities in the UK, this is the first time the
British Art Show has been seen in Nottingham.
A wide range of work can be seen at Nottingham Castle, Angel Row Gallery and Beatties shop on Mount Street, all close to Old Market Square, the Bonnington Gallery at Nottingham Trent University and Djanogly Art Gallery at Lakeside Arts Centre (catch NCT bus 12 or 13 from stop XA, near Old Market Square).
British Art Show 6 comes at a time when the art scene in the UK is larger, more vibrant, more diverse and more internationally orientated than at any other time in the British Art Show's 26-year history.
