Families will be able to take a cut price tram trip into Nottingham for some holiday fun this Easter thanks to a special travel deal.

The city’s tram operators, NET, will again be offering a Family Group Ticket – providing a family of up to five, including two adults, a whole day of unlimited travel on the tram network for just £5.

Florian Le Loroux, NET Marketing Manager, said: “The offer was first introduced during the February half term school holidays and we had excellent feedback. The ticket proved extremely popular so we’ve decided to re-introduce it for the Easter break.

“The tram is a great way to glide into the city centre without worrying about traffic congestion or the cost of parking. There’s so much to see and do here that it will certainly keep the children occupied.”

The ticket, which will be available between 31 March and 15 April, can be bought from conductors on board the tram. There’s no need to book in advance and the only rule is that adults must be accompanied by their children!

Meanwhile, NET has announced service adjustments over the Easter weekend. A Sunday service will be operated on Good Friday, (6 April) and again on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday. A normal Saturday service will run on 7 April.
