

Nottingham Live Music festival has an exciting line-up of local bands, artists and performers providing entertainment in the Arboretum (High School) throughout the summer.
The Nottingham Live Music Festival has been set up by a group of local people as a creative platform for the local arts and music scene, providing an opportunity for the community to come together and see what a vibrant array of artistic talent there is existing within their own communities.
Battle of the Bands 2007
Three heats will be held at Jongleurs Comedy Club (Lace Market), 8pm - 2am, where 5 bands from each academy will be showcased.
- 15th March Confetti studios showcasing 5 bands
- 19th April Castle colleges showcase of 5 bands
- 17th May Derby university showcase 5 bands
The finalists will compete in the final on 17th June, at Jongleurs.
Free Sunday Festivals 2007
Held in the Arboretum (High School) from 12pm - 6pm, throughout the summer, each afternoon will focus on a different theme, such as
- Celebrating one world, one Nottingham
- Emancipation through music
Each festival will also feature a plethora of arts and crafts from the community as well as a fairground for children’s entertainment and workshops in a wealth of different interests.
You will find these fantastic events happening in the glorious summer setting of the Arboretum Park, just a short walk from the High School stop.
