Our conductors make NET easy to use - passengers hop on and pay on board without needing to purchase a ticket in advance.

Every tram has a driver and at least one conductor on board, with extra conductors on trams at busy times. During peak times at the busiest tramstops, conductors will sell tickets on the stops.

Our conductors will also provide customer service to passengers. Whether by helping with travel information, assisting people in getting on and off the trams or helping them feel generally more secure. Detailed information about disabled access is available under Access for All.

Nottingham City Council and Nottinghamshire County Council concessionary passes are valid on the tram and there are a number of joint NCT bus and NET tram tickets, including the EasyRider smartcard, which allow travel on city buses and trams. See the fares page for more details.
