Work has started on new bridge supports at the Railway Station. Bridge works take place at night due to railway element of this work.

Station Street made one-way between Trent Street and Carrington Street Station Street will be closed on some midweek evenings in July 2012 for this work.

The bridge platforms for the bridge over Queens Road will be installed in October 2012 – duration of this work is to be confirmed.

Arkwright Street will be closed between Crocus Street and Meadows Way until summer 2012. Arkwright Street will be closed for demolition of buildings and diversion of services. External demolition of Arkwright buildings has started.

Part of Meadows Way is currently closed for a deep sewer connection - the closure between Beardsley Gardens and Kelso Gardens will be for approximately 6 weeks.

Service diversions in the Meadows will from summer 2012 to early 2013.

Diversions are linked with Queens Drive diversions and Enterprise Way diversions should be complete by November. Sewer diversions in Queens Walk start summer 2012 until 2013.

Tree stumps in Queens Walk are being removed. Where trees have to be removed, they are checked for nesting birds and Nottingham City Council Tree Officer is in attendance.

Service diversions in Victoria Embankment start in summer 2012.

Traffic management will be used as the work progresses across the Victoria Embankment roundabout and its approaches.
