Nottingham’s tram network is embracing social media with the launch of a new Facebook page.

It features all the latest news of the existing tram Line, including details of special offers and promotions, and visitors can also leave their own comments or ‘like’ the page.

The tram’s arrival on Facebook follows the recent launch of an updated website that’s been optimised for mobile phones and tablet computers.

Florian Le Loroux, Marketing Manager at NET explained: “We’re constantly looking at new ways to stay in touch with customers, making it as easy as possible for them to find out about our services.

“Facebook will also help us to gather feedback from users of the network and we hope it will encourage even more people to discover, the easiest and most convenient way of travelling into Nottingham city centre.”
