A year’s free travel on Nottingham’s tram network and an Apple iPad are up for grabs as part of a new campaign aimed at promoting the easiest and most convenient way of getting into Nottingham.

Florian Le Loroux, Marketing Manager at NET explained: “The competition is part of a wider campaign to introduce even more people to the benefits of using the tram network.
“According to recent research, existing users say they find it offers the quickest, most convenient and easiest way of getting into Nottingham, whether they are commuting to work, visiting friends, going shopping or on a night out.”
The campaign, which includes features in the local press, also highlights the convenience of the network’s five park and ride sites, offering 3,000 spaces for people who drive to Nottingham and then complete their journey by tram.
It also focuses on special deals, such as the Kangaroo ticket, which involve other transport operators and offer great value and convenience for anyone combining tram travel with a bus or train journey.
“With more than 10 million passenger journeys a year, the tram network is already a huge success,” Florian continued. “But, we want to ensure that its popularity continues to rise as we look forward to its expansion.”
