TRAM NETWORK TO HELP THOUSANDS HONOUR ARMED SERVICES

As Nottingham prepares to host a national celebration to honour the armed services, the city’s tram network is gearing up to help tens of thousands of people join in the festivities.

To make way for the parade and other activities, tram services will terminate at Royal Centre from the start of service until around 2pm on Saturday 29th June. A replacement bus shuttle service will be in operation from Upper Parliament Street to Station Street for customers travelling on to Nottingham railway station.

Regular users of Nottingham’s tram network can now save money on fares by purchasing a 30-day ticket over the internet.

The new online option is open to all customers and follows the success of online Student Tickets, which are also being revised.
