Old Market Square Live Music Weekend: Friday 30th March – Sunday 1st April

The transformation of Old Market Square has been finished and reopened in spectacular style on Saturday 24th March, with a day jam packed with fun and fireworks.

The Live Music Weekend begins on Friday 30th March with live music from a range of national and local acts and runs until Sunday 1st April.

Due to these events in Old Market Square, trams will not be running between Royal Centre and Station Street at the following times over the weekend.

• Friday 30th March: 18:00 - 23:30
• Saturday 31st March: 18:00 - 23:30
• Sunday 1st April: 14:00 - 22:00

In addition, tram services will also be affected on Tuesday 3rd April, between 11:00 - 13:00, whilst the Minden Band of the Queen's Division are playing live on the stage in the Square.

Trams will turn at Royal Centre; northbound departures will therefore be using the southbound platform during this time!
