Important News About Goose Fair 2005

• Tickets could be bought in advance for bargain prices
• There was a slightly different ticket system operating

Save on tram travel with Goose Pre-Pay!

Advance tickets were sold online, by our on stop ticket sales teams and at the NCT Travel Centre.

• All-Day Ticket: £2 (£2.20 on the day)
  Adult or Child
• Group Ticket: £4 (£4.50 on the day)
  1 or 2 adults and up to 3 under 16s

NET online ticket sales were processed using Secure Hosting and NOCHEX Online Payments to ensure a high level of security. You do not need a NOCHEX account to make payment.

Changes to Fares

During the fair, there was a slightly different ticket system operating.

Fares not available:

• Adult Single
• Child Single
• Child All-Day

All other tickets were valid, including WeeklyRider, CityRider and EasyRider. Ticket changes applied from Thursday 6th - Sunday 9th October 2005.

Getting to Goose Fair

NET ran lots of extra services during Goose Fair. Extra trams ran at the times marked in red. At all other times (in black), trams ran at normal times (current timetable).

The Forest P&R Closure

The Forest Park & Ride was closed  for Goose Fair at the end of service on Saturday 1st October and re-opened at 6am on Wednesday 12th October. During this period there was alternative parking available at Wilkinson Street, just off the ring road.
