Ever wanted to know the time of the next tram without having to search for your copy of the timetable?

Well now you can with TripText, the new SMS timetable service which provides tram and bus times direct to your mobile phone!

You only pay your normal text message rate (there are no extra charges!).

Simply write a text message, using the examples opposite and send it to 82280. Then wait a few seconds and read your reply. There's even a printable version to take with you!

So if you're looking for the time of the next tram from Station Street to Hucknall, you'd simply send the following message:
NTM NET01 to NET40

If you wanted to find the time of a tram to arrive at your destination before a certain time, then you can write:
NTM NET01 to NET40 before 9.30

Or, if you wanted to find the time of a tram to arrive at your destination after a certain time, then you can write:
NTM NET01 to NET40 after 15.30

If you want to know the times of the next few trams at a certain stop (The Forest going towards the city) then you can write:
NTM NET13

 

The times that you receive via this SMS service are scheduled timetable times and not real time information. We are currently investigating ways of providing real time information such as that available on the on-stop Passenger Information Displays via both web & SMS services.
