15 March 2012

This year’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade will make its way from the Forest to the Old Market Square on Saturday 17th March.

The Parade will begin at 12:00 noon at Forest Recreation Ground and proceed along Mansfield Road, Lower Milton Street, Parliament Street, Queens Street and into the Square.

Both the Forest and Old Market Square have their own Tram Stops which means you can travel to and from the start and finish of the Parade by tram ….or walk with it of course!

There will be an Irish Market and, after the Parade, live on stage entertainment throughout the afternoon in the Old Market Square.

Trams run every 6 minutes from the City Centre as far as Highbury Vale and every 12 minutes to Hucknall and Phoenix Park.

If you are travelling with children, make the best of our £7.00 Grouprider ticket which allows 2 adults and up to 4 children (under the age of 16) to travel on Tram all day as much as you like.
