We take great care of our trams to make them all clean and comfortable, they are 100% low floor throughout so it's easy for buggies, wheelchairs and shopaholics with bags of stuff! We also have dedicated areas for wheelchair users and buggy parking so customers can travel safely and hassle free.
Using the Tram
The trams glide every 5-6 minutes Mon-Sat daytime from David Lane to the city centre. Every tram has a friendly conductor who will be happy to answer any questions and advise you on the best ticket for your journey.
Enjoy the ride and let us know what you think!
Look up the time of your next tram in the glide guide or at www.thetram.net or just turn up (they’re very frequent!)
Please don't dash on while the doors are closing (we'd hate to squish you!)
Get to the stop in plenty of time. The electronic display will show you how soon the next tram is.
Enjoy the journey and we’ll get you there as quick as we can.
Buy your ticket from, or show your pass to one of our friendly conductors. They’ll be happy to give you change (though they love it when you have the right money)
When you're ready to get off just push the yellow stop button so the driver knows you want the stop.
All our trams are 100% low floor & have extra space for wheelchairs & buggies through the double doors. There are also priority spaces for those less able to stand.
Before the tram moves away hold on tight, especially if you're standing up.
If you’d like to tell us about your experience we’d love to hear from you. Call us on 0115 942 7777 or email info@thetram.net
