Visitors to Nottingham’s premier conference and concert venue can make great savings when travelling there, thanks to the city’s tram network and its popular Event Ticket.
A partnership between NET and the Albert Hall means return travel to the venue, located just a short walk from the Royal Centre tram stop, costs just £2.
Available from tram stop ticket machines, an Event Ticket is valid on the day of concerts or other performances whilst conference delegates can claim a bespoke ticket in advance of their journey.
Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET Marketing Manager, explained: “We’re delighted to be able to support one of the city’s iconic venues through this partnership that aims to make a visit to the Albert Hall an even more pleasurable experience.
“Whether travelling to the Albert Hall for business or pleasure, by taking the tram visitors can avoid city centre traffic and, if they take advantage of our free park and ride facilities, the hassle of finding a parking space.”
To take up the offer, customers can select the Event Ticket option at any ticket machine. They’ll also need to have their ticket for the Albert Hall to hand, should it be requested by a Travel Officer.
Conference organisers should be able to provide information on advance tickets, and delegates should also be ready to show their conference passes when they travel.
Owen Nadin, Events Manager at The Albert Hall Conference Centre, added: “We are very pleased to be working in partnership with NET, which allows our customers and delegates to be able to attend The Albert Hall with ease. This is a fantastic offer, especially with the free park and ride facilities and the nearest tram stop being just a short walk away.”
