City’s Tram Network Has Just The Ticket For Light Night
06 February 2017
Visitors to Nottingham’s annual celebration of light after dark will be able to make great savings on travel when they use the city’s tram network.
The Robin Hood Energy Light Night on Friday 10 February will feature over 50 free dazzling events and activities for all ages, with many of the city’s famous landmarks lit up to offer visitors a fresh perspective on familiar sights.
NET’s ever popular £5 Group Ticket will help customers make the most of the evening by offering discount travel across the network. Available from tram stop ticket machines after 4pm, the ticket provides unlimited travel for one or two adults and up to three kids.
Stephanie Moss-Pearce, Assistant Marketing Manager at NET explained: “Our Group Ticket provides fantastic value for money for families and groups of friends who want to make the most of one of Nottingham’s most exciting annual events.”
One of the highlights of this year’s installation will be the Wheel of Nottingham in the Old Market Square which will be transformed into the Wheel of Light with a special 75,000 bulb light show.
Stephanie added: “With the event expected to draw thousands of visitors to Nottingham, roads are likely to be very busy, but tram customers can enjoy swift and hassle-free travel with stops within easy reach of many of the activities.”
“They can even avoid the expense and stress of finding city centre parking by using one of our seven park & ride sites situated across the network.”
