A children’s nurse is set to have a tram named after her after being voted Nottingham’s Nurse of the Year.

During an awards dinner at Nottingham's Council House last night (Thursday, May 21), Kim Helm was presented with the accolade by Lea Harrison, Head of Service Delivery at NET concessionaire, Tramlink Nottingham.

The 55-year-old paediatric transplant clinical nurse specialist at the Queen's Medical Centre also won the children's nurse category at the NET sponsored awards, which are run by the Nottingham Post and Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust.
