NET will join Nottingham Trent University’s Wellbeing and Safety Fair this week to talk to students about the unique features that make the tram one of the safest ways to travel around Nottingham.

With tram stops at the University and throughout the City centre and surrounding areas, and student season tickets offering great value on unlimited travel, the tram is the easiest way to enjoy everything that Nottingham has to offer.

In addition to being reliable and affordable, NET also prioritises the safety of its passengers and has unique features to ensure that everyone feels comfortable when travelling by tram, especially when alone or late at night.

These include:

  • Well-lit stations and platforms
  • HD CCTV cameras in all trams
  • Emergency help buttons at all stops and on all trams
  • The ability to contact a member of the team discreetly through WhatsApp on 0115 824 6060.

NET Head of Marketing Alison Sweeney said: “The safety of our customers is our top priority, and we pride ourselves on going over and above to make sure that everyone feels comfortable and safe when travelling by tram. Nottingham Trent’s Wellbeing and Safety Fair is an important event, so we’re pleased to be able to join and set out why the tram offers a safe and reliable transport option for everyone living, working, studying in the city and enjoying the great night life Nottingham has to offer.”
