Nottingham Express Transit (NET) has announced a huge offer this January, saving tram users more than £200 on an Adult Annual ticket, which can be used for unlimited tram travel all year.

The offer, which runs from 1 January to 31 January, reduces the price of an Adult Annual Ticket from £750 to £525. This makes daily tram travel equivalent to only £1.44 a day, a saving of more than 50% when compared to the price of a standard Adult Day Ticket and less than the price of a cup of coffee.

Alison Sweeney, head of marketing at NET, said: “Our January offer is all about making tram travel affordable for more people. Whether it’s for a daily commute, to visit family and friends, or for exploring all the city has to offer, we want to encourage the people of Nottingham to choose the trams when traveling around the city and we hope this opportunity to make great savings on an annual pass will do just that.

“Traveling on the network should never feel out of reach and we are committed to providing a safe, reliable and good value travel option. We understand the on-going financial pressures that continue to impact households across the city, which is why we have decided to freeze the price of our annual offer to match that of last year’s. So, despite rising costs elsewhere, we hope that our January offer will remove the worry of cost when choosing to travel by tram.”

The NET January offer is available exclusively through the NETGO! App which can be downloaded via Google Play or the App Store. For more information, visit: https://www.thetram.net/netgo
