Nottingham’s tram network is set to extend a popular ticket offer to help families make the most of the upcoming bank holiday and half-term break.
Usually only available at weekends and from 4pm on weekdays, NET’s £5 Group Ticket will be available all day on Bank Holiday Monday 29 May. The extended offer will also cover all day use for the rest of the half-term holiday, up to and including Friday 2 June.
Offering unlimited tram travel for two adults and up to three children, the special ticket can be purchased at all tram stop ticket machines on the network.
Stephanie Moss-Pearce, NET’s Assistant Marketing Manager, said: “With stops close to many of Nottingham’s top attractions, families can make the most of the extended weekend and school break by using the tram.
“As well as discounted tram travel, our customers can also save on the cost of parking by using one of over 5,000 free spaces at our 7 park & ride sites located across the network.”
A slightly altered tram service will be in operation during the Bank Holiday Monday, whilst essential track maintenance works are completed in the Hyson Green area of the network. Trams will run from every 10 minutes between 7am and 7pm, and from every 15 minutes outside of those times.

A full weekday service is expected to resume on Tuesday 30 May and trams will operate as normal for the rest of the half term week with services from every seven minutes.
