Additional information

Trams may be busier than usual due to a higher number of Trams being withdrawn as a result of the hot weather.
Refer to the information boards on the platform for timings.
⚠️Hot weather warning⚠️
Higher temperatures are forecast for this week, with temperatures expected to exceed 35°C.
Higher temperatures may impact our infrastructure and the operation of our trams, potentially affecting your journey with us.
We'll keep you posted throughout the week with any issues which are affecting our services, but there are a few important things to remember to keep yourselves safe when travelling by tram on hot weather days.
Keep hydrated - Make sure you drink plenty of water and, where possible, have a bottle with you whilst travelling.
Keep cool - Wear lighter or loose-fitting clothes. You may also wish to bring your portable hand fan onboard, if you have one!
Keep moving - Board and alight as quickly as possible so we can keep our doors closed. Move down the tram to open up more room for others. The air conditioning works best when the doors are closed, minimising how much hot air enters the tram.
Keep updated - Check back on our service status and our social media pages for updates about our tram services.
Keep safe - Don't board the tram if you're feeling unwell. If you need some assistance, speak to our team via the customer help points on the platform
Keep alert - Look out for others. If you notice anything which doesn't look quite right, whether that is another passenger looking unwell, or anything on our network which could compromise anyone's safety, let one of our team know as soon as possible. You can contact us via the platform help points or via WhatsApp on 0115 8246060.
