NET announces 2026 charity of the year, championing importance of mental health in the workplace.
Nottingham Express Transit (NET) has put mental health awareness in the driving seat after naming Nottinghamshire Mind as its 2026 charity of the year.
Plans are currently being devised to undertake tram works which will require part of Wilford Lane to be closed to traffic.
Utility services need to be moved and a tram crossing installed, so that NET services travelling to and from Clifton will be able to cross Wilford Lane and run along the line of the former railway embankment.
Due to the nature of the works needed on Wilford Lane and the location of utility services, Wilford Lane will need to close to traffic between Compton Acres and Ashdown Close for approximately four months, while the works are undertaken.
Further detailed information about the works, which are expected to start on the 1st of September 2013, will be distributed to properties as well as public venues in the nearby area and also made available on this website, but in the meantime brief details are outlined below:
