With the new academic year just a couple of days away, many parents in Nottingham will now be planning the best way to get their youngsters to and from school.

To help them budget for the year ahead, the city’s expanding tram network is reminding parents of its value-for-money season ticket offers.

At just £245 the annual pass lasts a full calendar year and offers unlimited travel for under 16s across the entire network – including the new lines to Chilwell and Clifton.

Jamie Swift, NET Marketing Manager, commented: “This can be an expensive time for parents and doing the school run by car can be frustrating.

“However many local schools are easily reached by tram and our season ticket offers represent unrivalled value for money. What’s more they can be easily purchased online, on a mobile phone or at the NET Travel Centre in King Street.”
