Tree Maintenance Work To Be Carried Out

Some tram services will be affected as tree maintenance work is carried out alongside the tramline over the Bank Holiday Weekend. 

The work is standard maintenance to prevent trees from causing damage to tramway infrastructure, and will take place on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August 2020.

On Saturday 29th August, Highbury Vale Branch, Cinderhill and Phoenix Park stops will be closed while work takes place on the section of line between Highbury Vale Branch and Phoenix Park. All Phoenix Park trams will be redirected to Bulwell.

A bus replacement service will operate between Cinderhill, Phoenix Park and Bulwell Bus Station. On Sunday 30th August, Hucknall and Butlers Hill stops will be closed while work is carried out between Moor Bridge and Hucknall.

All Hucknall trams will terminate at Moor Bridge. A bus replacement service will operate between Moor Bridge and Hucknall. Trams will run every ten minutes while works are being undertaken.

The revised services will be publicised in advance at tram stops.
